Do you think online tv aggregators should be illegal?

That’s a ‘big’ question but it’s one the industry needs to be able to answer given the changes taking place. We’re inviting you to join the conversation here at the Testcard TV Blog.

By bringing together the relevant views from representatives from the appropriate organisations and individuals we hope we help clarify the situation and provide value to those taking part.

To kick this off and with this news in mind and of course our own reaction to it we’d like to hear from you - what do you think? Do you think online tv aggregators should be illegal? Is linking to material that is uploaded/hosted without the correct licensing agreement in place illegal? Is linking to the site that is linking illegal?

There are many points of view. See the comments posted (one below) on Jack Schofield’s blog on The Guardian’s website as a starter.
